The 12 x drive bays of the RC18015xs+ natively support 3.5″ and 2.5″ SAS hard drives and SSDs. The drives are hot swappable and there is also RAID management through Synology Disk Station Manager. The RC18015xs+ is equipped with 2 x MiniSAS IN ports, 2 x MiniSAS OUT ports, and dual redundant 500W power supplies. It operates using 100-240 VAC at 50/60 Hz (single phase), consumes 248W upon drive access, and includes an accessory pack, 2 x AC power cords, and 2 x MiniSAS expansion cables.
